• Kingsway buys WS4500 for digital label production - Kingsway Printers has installed an HP Indigo press WS4500 and an AB Graphic Omega Digicon Series 2 finishing unit for digital label and flexible-packaging production.
• Xante's new digital presses at American exhibition - The north and Latin America debut of three new models in Xante's Ilumina press series will take place at the Graphics of the Americas exhibition, from 25-27 February in Miami, USA.
• Indigo press images rated for 45 years permanence - HP Indigo presses have received a Wilhelm Imaging Research (WIR) display permanence rating of approximately 45 years, the first of its kind for a digital press, said the company.
• Konica Minolta to make appearance at Ipex 2010 - Konica Minolta will display both the Bizhub PRO C6501 colour print system and the Bizhub PRO 1200 series for mono production, at Ipex 2010.
• HP provides photo and art certification scheme - HP has made available the Art Trust self-certification system for photographers and artists using HP Designjet Z Series photographic printers.
• Inca presents Onset flatbed printer improvement - Inca Digital will demonstrate an enhancement to the wide-format Onset S20 UV inkjet flatbed printer at Ipex 2010 on the Fujifilm stand (9-CD360).
• HP Scitex inks get Nordic Ecolabel approval - Five HP Scitex inks for sign and display printing have been added to the official list of those that meet the chemical requirements of the Nordic Ecolabel (also known as Nordic Swan).
• Digital printed full-colour books via web-to-print - Publicep, part of Grupo Publicep, of Humanes de Madrid, Spain, has installed an HP Indigo press W3250 for the production of full-colour digital books.
• HP collaborates on photo print workflow software - HP has launched a system from M-photo to manage professional laboratory workflow for HP Indigo presses and silver-halide output devices.
• Harland Simon control systems for Goss reelstands - Harland Simon has won a contract from Singapore Press Holdings for the supply of new control systems for Singapore Press's Goss CT50 reelstands.
